Here Come The Derailers
Derailers
For their Sony/Lucky Dog debut, retro-tonkers the
Derailers turn to veteran producer Kyle Lehning, who's best known for his work
with Randy Travis. Is it a nod toward commercial country for these alt-crowd

Gravitational Forces
Robert Earl Keen
Keen's two-album tenure on Arista met with mixed

Earl Scruggs & Friends
Earl Scruggs
Longtime fans of the banjo master may remember
Scruggs's star-studded "family and friends" albums from decades ago. Now he's
introduced to a new generation of fans (and artists) on this collection, which,
typically for an all-star affair, ranges from the subpar to the sublime. Guests
range from Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash, Marty Stuart, Vince Gill, and Travis
Tritt to Elton John, Sting, John Fogerty, and Melissa Etheridge. The varied
guest list makes for surprises both good and bad.
