About the Editor

I have been in Information Technology since it was called Data Processing. I keep food on the table by doing software development on a contract basis so expect to see related articles here.

As a songwriter, I have had three songs recorded on an independent Nashville label. I'm not making money at it, but I have received enough encouragement that I'm not giving up yet. I have written several dozen poems, but they are so personal that I doubt many of them will ever be published.

I have had plans for several novels for years. I finally wrote a few chapters and got a professional's opinion. He encouraged me to proceed with the project, although I suspect the second novel is better than the first and if the first doesn't make it, I'll never get the second one published.

I put my novel plans on hold to write a book about my divorce. I wish I would have had the information in 1994 that will be in this book and I hope it will help others. I am currently seeking representation since most publishers will not accept unagented submissions unless they know the writer.

In summary, I have more projects going than I could finish if I had another century (and didn't have to work for a living.) And now I'm doing this!!

If you are one of the technical services agencies that agree to a specified hourly rate before submitting me to a client . . . and then tell me, after the interview and everything should be ready to go, that the client now says they can only pay a lesser rate . . .

then I got two words for you . . .
SUCK IT!!!
